We woke up to a BEAUTIFUL morning on Day 2 in paradise…I was SO happy that it wasn’t cloudy or raining…Over the night it POURED and we heard the loudest thunder that I have ever heard! So waking to sunshine made me HAPPY! And the fact that we weren’t hung over from our fun the day before was a total plus too!
Buffet breakfast is the way to go! We were very happy with our menu options there! And our resort had these cool ponds with fish and turtles that would follow you as you walked…Owen would have loved it!
The humidity was at 100%…which did WONDERS for my hair…but also made my phone camera fog up often. Kinda annoying but thats why some of our pics have that “haze” or “fog” to them!
This was the walk-way to our Royal Service beach.
Our beach had a private waiter that immediately brought you bottled water and then whatever alcohol beverage you’d want. And Carlos (our fav waiter) would even bring nachos or fries without us even having to ask. It was nice! Its like he knew the way to my heart.
Do you know what its like to be at the beach and not have to move unless I wanted to…like I could have laid there for hours and hours. Waiter would bring me drinks, I was sweating all my fluids out and I could read and read. It was so amazing to NOT have kids asking for one thing or another every second!! haha I LOVE my kids but man I really LOVED having some ME time too!!
The water was warm but it had a bit of a rocky entrance. And the water was SO salty! So e wstayed at the beach for a bit…then headed to the pool to end out our day!
More Wango Tangos (aka Mango Tangos). Being in the pool was a cool place to also be able to mingle with others as well. We met some fun people from Texas and ended up hangin’ with the a few times while in mexico.
That night we went to dinner and for drinks.
We loved the Martini bar on our resort. Yosh found a good martini that he REALLY enjoyed and drank like 10 of them…fresh kiwi martini’s were his thing…((remember that for later))
I stuck with my White Zinfindell….and bottled water of course!
It was casino night in one of the clubs. It was pretty corny and was no prize BUT I went with it and made it a good time!! I was the ultimate winner at the roulette table!! BlackJack…not so much!!
