Mothers Day was the last day we could validate our free Sea World passes…so we had to celebrate early with Mya…and had a lunch date to Red Robin!

Was great getting out for a meal with Mya…for the last few years with Papa’s condition we didn’t get to get out much. It was weird not having him there but being out was nice as well. We got Mya a new garden flag with all her grandkids names…and she seemed to like it.
For Mothers day we headed to Sea World.
This wasn’t the first Mother’s day we spent at Sea World…but this year it was a double whammy because Nana came with us…and Sea World is her most favorite place in the world! haha
2015…when we thought life was hard with 2 kids…bahahahaha

2017…well…life is wonderful…you can just read it all over Maggie’s face! hahaha

It was a great day at Sea World. I swear it never gets old..especially when you see the delight on your kids face as if they have never seen this stuff before but they totally have!
These little touchy pools at the entrance are SUCH a hit!! The little feeder fish LOVED daddy’s hand…ew.

Poor Nana’s broken arm didn’t hold her back!

Feeding the sea lions was a hit…crazy mean birds kept trying to steal the fish and the sea lions were making Maggie laugh like crazy!

Jumping picture fail! hahaha

Sharks was scary for Maggie…she had me by the shirt like crazy!!

The Doggy Show was a hit…as usual! And it was VERY warm. Down in San Diego that day was iffy…it was rainy up at home and we thought it was going to be yucky at Sea World as well. It turned out to be a BEAUTIFUL day and actually sorta hot. Ella doesn’t do well in brought light so I lost my sunglasses to her for a bit.

We then met up with some of teacher friends and family…who were also validating their passes!! Which was great because Kendall is “Ella’s best friend”

Owen rode the rollercoaster and we brought Ella and Maggie to the dolphin tank. It was pretty cool but I’m not sure who was more excited..the girls OR Nana?!? haha

All these beautiful children!!

The dolphin show has changed. They used to have a storyline and the trainers got in the water and they had their acrobatic bird guys but now its all an informative show…no swimming from humans…it was eh. But I was excited about my ice cream!

By the end of the day the girls were exhausted…Owen did the simulation ride at the Polar Bear part is. The peer pressure of our friends kids got him…but he loved it! So I walked the girls…Maggie snoozed and then Ella was OUT. Like I took her out, brought her into In-N-Out, ate, put her back in the car and she NEVER woke up! It was the perfect end to my Mother’s day!

And my littles all made me the cutest gifts at school and Martha’s.
