End of Year for Owen

End of our school years were coming to and end…and we could smell summer!!!  I was lucky enough to be able to skip out of work early one day to help out at Owen’s end of year party in his 2nd grade class. They played games, made ice cream sundaes and had fun!  Loved getting the opportunity to see him interact with his classmates!

He loved 2nd grade. He loved his teacher. He loves learning and reading. I’m so very proud of him!! He’s overcome having a rough kid in his class…one that bullied him in kindergarten and he learned how to handle and deal with those actions!  I’m so proud of him.

Owen the Soccer Player

When Owen told me he didn’t want to play baseball anymore I was a liiiiiittle bit sad. BUT I totally understood. He had played 4 seasons and it wasn’t really clicking for him.  So when he asked to be signed up for SOCCER I was shocked.  We tried soccer when he was 3…he didn’t like it. BUT of course we were going to let him try again.

The season started with him seriously hardly being able to make contact with the soccer ball! hahaha Yeah. He didn’t like goalie but liked playing defense. He wasn’t the player that was scoring or any of that BUT he loved helping the goalie out whenever the ball came near.  He progressed so much over the season and LOVED his teammates.  There were only 6 kids on the team…and they all got along pretty good!!

Our little Mexico Pokemon team had a GREAT season. Finished 4th and really kicked butt! Owen was the only rookie on the team and loved watching him create relationships and develop his skills.  He loved it and asked to play again in Fall. So..it was a success!!

New adventure for Mommy - R+F

The past few months I have been very unhappy with my skin/face!  My crows feet and overall wrinkles were just starting to REALLY REALLY get to me.  I put a post on FB to see what my friends were using. I got LOADS of products…but one of my friends sold Rodan + Fields and dropped off a multi-function eye cream on my door step. Started using the product in December and started seeing a smoothness of my crows feet in about a month!  The softening of the wrinkles, the decreased puffiness…it works!

IMG_7860 IMG_3484

Then I thought it was a good time to try a full regimen! I took the solution tool on my friends website and it said that I should be using a Reverse Lightening Regimen for brown spots and sun damage. My face was a mess so I thought I had NOTHING to lose!

IMG_1676

One month later and I have NEVER seen my skin looking so nice!!! I was in love!

IMG_3007

Only 1 month in and my results were everything I was looking for.  So I decided this was a product that I could back…and decided to make the investment and share this with my friends! I want all my girls to try these products because they work so magically!

The selling point to me was that everything comes with a 60 day empty bottle money back guarantee! Who would want to at least TRY the products!

I also started the lash boost…and DAYUM…its amazing!

IMG_5048

I also added in our newest product…Active Hydration Serum. I didn’t realize I was lacking it until I again saw my skin looking unlike I had ever seen it!!  Now its part of my nightly routine and I recommend it to all my customers!

IMG_4436

So I was an Independent Consultant for Rodan + Fields.  I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to make any money out of this business…but I was getting my products at discount..so THAT was something!  I had a “Big Business Launch” BBL at my house and was pleasantly surprised to have lots of friends, friends of friends and family here to listen and support me in this new adventure!

IMG_4391

I gained 17 Preferred Customers that day…and I have been having a GREAT time every since!!

Mothers Day

Mothers Day was the last day we could validate our free Sea World passes…so we had to celebrate early with Mya…and had a lunch date to Red Robin!

IMG_4034IMG_4047

IMG_4052IMG_4055

Was great getting out for a meal with Mya…for the last few years with Papa’s condition we didn’t get to get out much. It was weird not having him there but being out was nice as well.  We got Mya a new garden flag with all her grandkids names…and she seemed to like it.

For Mothers day we headed to Sea World.

This wasn’t the first Mother’s day we spent at Sea World…but this year it was a double whammy because Nana came with us…and Sea World is her most favorite place in the world! haha

2015…when we thought life was hard with 2 kids…bahahahaha

IMG_4453IMG_4435

2017…well…life is wonderful…you can just read it all over Maggie’s face! hahaha

IMG_4124 IMG_4079

It was a great day at Sea World. I swear it never gets old..especially when you see the delight on your kids face as if they have never seen this stuff before but they totally have!

These little touchy pools at the entrance are SUCH a hit!! The little feeder fish LOVED daddy’s hand…ew.

IMG_4067

IMG_4069IMG_4070

Poor Nana’s broken arm didn’t hold her back!

IMG_4081

Feeding the sea lions was a hit…crazy mean birds kept trying to steal the fish and the sea lions were making Maggie laugh like crazy!

IMG_4085IMG_4100

Jumping picture fail! hahaha

IMG_4138

Sharks was scary for Maggie…she had me by the shirt like crazy!!

IMG_4148IMG_4164

IMG_4161

The Doggy Show was a hit…as usual!  And it was VERY warm. Down in San Diego that day was iffy…it was rainy up at home and we thought it was going to be yucky at Sea World as well. It turned out to be a BEAUTIFUL day and actually sorta hot.  Ella doesn’t do well in brought light so I lost my sunglasses to her for a bit.

IMG_4178IMG_4180

We then met up with some of teacher friends and family…who were also validating their passes!!  Which was great because Kendall is “Ella’s best friend”

IMG_4186

Owen rode the rollercoaster and we brought Ella and Maggie to the dolphin tank. It was pretty cool but I’m not sure who was more excited..the girls OR Nana?!? haha

IMG_4188IMG_4194

All these beautiful children!!

IMG_4211

The dolphin show has changed. They used to have a storyline and the trainers got in the water and they had their acrobatic bird guys but now its all an informative show…no swimming from humans…it was eh. But I was excited about my ice cream!

IMG_4214

By the end of the day the girls were exhausted…Owen did the simulation ride at the Polar Bear part is. The peer pressure of our friends kids got him…but he loved it!  So I walked the girls…Maggie snoozed and then Ella was OUT. Like I took her out, brought her into In-N-Out, ate, put her back in the car and she NEVER woke up!  It was the perfect end to my Mother’s day!
