Here are some of my random favorites from our trip as well. No event surrounded them but I just liked them!!
Because of the super chilly, wet weather AND with Maggie having a nasty little cough we spent more time at home than usual (which drove my father nuts) and us crazy too.
“Our Crew”…my cousin Alan and his wife Denise are some of my best friends…and our other best friends Catherine and John are also best friends with Alan and Denise. We have spent lots of time together over the years and it was nice to get a calm adult night out for dinner. We went to a place called Hefer & Hen in Ballina. It was yummy! And we didn’t realize at the time but it was the only night that all 6 of us got out together this trip. Kids, pregnancies and sickness really got in the way! haha
Because even when shes sick she is cute!
Cold wet weather means getting out to indoor play facilities. Tumble Jungle and Funsters.
My dad’s brother who currently lives in Ireland comes over once a week for dinner and to spend time with my parents. And while we were there was no exception. We ate dinner and then hung out.
Since I’m nursing Maggie we didn’t get much time away from the kids during this trip…we had a few evenings out and 3 trips to the grocery store. One of the days we went to the store, we popped into McDonalds to enjoy a warm deep fried apple pie and vanilla ice cream…alone. With no kids. No babies. It was so nice!! haha Oh the small things in life.
Our little lady turned 3 months while we were there. The sun rises at 9am and starts setting at 3:30pm…so getting some natural life for her monthly pics was a pain in the booty!
Thats our rental car…and sometimes when the view out the car window is THAT beautiful I pull over and take pics. and my iphone pics did NOT do this any justice. ((Callow Lake)).
When Granda had enough of us we’d hide in our room…put on netflix and let the kids watch in there. I’d be nursing Maggie and playing referee between Owen and Ella.
Girls afternoon…we left the dads home so we could check out the sale at Next (clothes shop) and get a few things from the grocery store. BUT we figured we deserved a lunch at The Mill as well. All these years and I had never eaten there. It was nice.
Because matching scarves are freaking cute!!
McDonalds is like a special occasion…cousin day out in this country!! haha
3 kids in the back of a smaller SUV. We made it work. And Ella ate her way through our trip!
Evenings in Irishtown. Nana with her 3. And Majella lovin’ on our Maggie.
Owen showing off his super loose tooth to his cousins!
New Years Day Maggie Mae was 100 days old…how exciting.
Main Street, Foxford.
The view from my parents backyard. On the only day that the sun came out!
The park in 40 degree weather is so fun…said NO mother ever!
Only in Ireland would it be totally acceptable to bring the kids into the church for a visit on a Thursday at 4pm.
More time in Irishtown with Nanny.
Maggie found some cute baby in the mirror!!
Yosh’s traditional Guinness Picture!
Because sister matching outfits are the cutest things ever!
We figured out that 9 years ago (to the day!) we were in Ireland, visiting Melissa in the hospital after the birth of her 1st baby girl. This trip she had JUST had her 3rd baby girl. So fun.
Finally that gross loose tooth fell out…Thank goodness the Toothfairy found him in Ireland
