My lovely friend Heather had a great idea to try and get some Halloween pics of the kids this year…so we attempted it together and BOY was it an adventure! haha Finding a nice green grassy field in the Corona area was a very difficult challenge for us, we wanted something that COULD be Never Never Land…and thankfully after about an hour of driving around we came across one…down a closed road with signs saying private property! Oops. haha (ps. if anyone knows of a nice grassy field around here, feel free to fill me in, please!!)
We had an audience of cows on one side and a nice field on the other. It was quiet and we weren’t bothering anyone…so we starting trying to pose 3 children for pictures.
Two 3 year olds and a 16 month old…yeah…damn well near impossible. I don’t know how real photographers do it! I was sweating, itchy from the “elements”…and trying to bribe, I mean, feed kids candy to pose for the camera! Heather and I each had a camera…and took turns with either kid patrol or camera duty. Here are some of my favs of the day…
I think we got some cute pics of our Peter Pan, Jake and Tinkerbell…so it was worth it!! Ryland got stung by something so we were packing up when I saw a man and two dogs coming down the hill from the house at the top. I got nervous….especially when I noticed he had a SHOTGUN strapped to his back!!! ECK. We hustled to get the kids in the car but the man made it to us before we could leave…he ended up being very nice but GEEZO I was nervous…I’ve seen ONE too many scary movies!
