We had rain…YAY! Its been so damn hot around here everyone has been wishing, praying, hoping for cooler weather and maybe some “fall” type activity…well we got it today! It was nice. I took the day off of work for a Baby Doc Appt…so it was a Mommy & Owen day…which Owen enjoyed getting the opportunity to hear sister’s heartbeat. But of course he did in fact cover his ears and say it was too loud!! I’ll take that as a good thing.
It was cold and rainy…so I automatically turn to my comfort food…
Yes my mexican friends talk smack to me about spaghetti o’s…but it’s a white person thing…I can’t help it! haha I LOVE me some spaghetti o’s, toast and a big glass of milk on a cold rainy day..yuummmm!! Owen had his “comfort” food too…hah
After lunch we had a WONDERFUL nap…and then Daddy was already home from work. Feels like such short days when you are home relaxing…that’s forsure!
I was an evil wife and sent the hubby out in the rain…you would have thought I was asking him to donate a testicle or something…but no…all the pregnant lady wanted was some Chipotle for dinner! haha
We sat and listened to the thunder and watched all the rain dump buckets this evening…its funny how amazed we are with rain. My Irish family would be ashamed of us!! haha But its such a rare thing in So Cal..when we get a storm like we have this evening its just so exciting!!
BUT just looked at the weather for the next 5 days…won’t get my rain boots out yet…its suppose to be 91 degrees on Monday! oh joy.
