Pregnancy can be so confusing sometimes. There are SO many weird things that can happen with your body that its hard to ever figure out whats wrong with you!! When I’M pregnant. everything that is wrong is ALWAYS because of the baby…haha, pregnancy gets the blame regardless.
So a few weeks ago I had some MAJOR nasal congestion. But of course Google told me that its totally normal during pregnancy to have a stuffy nose because of all the hormones…Fast Forward a few weeks…my stuffy nose is getting worse and now I have a cough, chest congestion, runny nose, sore throat. So I let myself suffer for 9 days before going into the doctor today. Thankfully I went since I was told that I have a sinus infection AND an upper respiratory infection!! So I’m praying all these meds will help this prego start feeling better ASAP!
And yes I asked the doc AND pharmacist if all this was baby friendly!!…it was!
I’m definitely feeling and looking pregnant these days…I have more and more students (and staff members that didn’t realize before)ask how far along I am and all the fun questions of “Is it a boy or girl?” “What are you naming her?” “Are you excited"?” haha And yes of course we are excited. The time is flying by…already almost 23 weeks prego…its nuts! I’m nesting like crazy but since her room isn’t even started I’m moving Owen’s room around, which I have realized it probably best…let him have some transition time BEFORE this little “life changer” arrives!
My co-workers today requested that I do another comparison picture on my blog…I don’t have any pictures of when I was prego with Owen at 22-23 weeks…so I’ll go back a few weeks…was I bigger with Owen or with this baby girl???
21 weeks with Owen (2008)……………………21 weeks with Baby Girl (2012)
I’m voting This time in that picture…
Wait found some kinda close pictures…
23.5 weeks prego with Owen…………………….22.5 weeks prego with Baby Girl.
What do you think Lia??? I’m thinking I’m bigger this time around!!!!
Either way the belly is growing and Owen is even noticing it…he asks me almost everyday how “his” baby is doing. I love it. I have started feeling Baby Girl kick with my hands…so its only a matter for time that its consistent enough for Owen to get a feel….I CAN’T wait!
…and neither can he!
