Between packing and prepping for our upcoming 3 week Ireland trip we got to enjoy summer! Well enjoy by getting our errands ran and adding some pool time of course!
I HATE packing. I hate actually thinking about everything I need to pack…like which outfits, which jackets, which shoes, boots, sandals, which bath stuff…oh its so overwhelming to pack for 3 kids to visit another country.
Car wash and lunch dates during summer time are awesome. No time restraints. No worrying about where to be and when. I love it.
One of our favorite places to go…Cowgirl Cafe for some yummy breakfast! Our kids beg us to bring them here all the time. During summer we can go to on weekdays and miss the wait!
Also love summertime for the naps!! Oh I love me a good nap…and so does Owen. He sometimes just needs some convincing how nice it feels. And I think he secretly loves taking naps with his mama in his mama’s bed!! I know there will come a day very soon where he will NOT nap with me…so I cherish it now!
Summertime also means DENTIST time!! Yep we get our 6 month check ups and we try and get those appts in while on break. Winter break and summer break! Ella is a champ and did great!
I love this crazy girl!
Also getting my running in WHILE pushing kids!!! I do a ONE mile loop around my neighborhood. I usually take Maggie on one loop, Ella on one loop…and hopefully finish solo for one loop! All before that sun gets too hot!
Summertime means morning baths!!! …just because we can!
And while baby sister naps, the beast gets some swimming in!! I just want to relax and lay out, maybe read, buuuut The Beast has other plans for me these days!
Needless to say we LOVE summertime! Soaking up the sun and heat before hopping on that plane to the cold Irish countryside!
