As teachers we have “duties” that we have to do. They can be any school event…sporting events, dances, theatre performances, etc. One of the top duties is Grad Night.
I was talked in to doing Grad Night back in 2011….and it was SO much fun!!
Grad Night was ran differently then…we got there as it got dark and stayed until 4am. It was a long cold night but it was a lot of fun! I probably felt more excited than those grads…it was my first grad night since I didn’t go to my own!
So when Erin and Taryn talked me in to signing up again this year I was all for it….sorta. Thank GOD I have a great husband who lets me go, stay up all late, and he helps take care of kids!!
Disneyland changed Grad Night. We got there around 1pm…stayed in Disneyland until 10pm and then got pushed into California Adventure with all the graduates. And were back on the bus at 2am. It was great!
We also had a bigger group than we did 6 years ago. It was a lot of fun…except I was the oldest in the group..until Lori showed up! heeheehee. But no really…it was the strangest feeling walking around Disneyland without my children. So…my group became my group of big kids! haha I was like the mother duck…always keeping an eye to keep my little goslings together! haha
And this girl right here…was mistaken for a high schooler all day! AND I still find it so weird since she was on my polo team…I was her coach and now she is my colleague. Its nuts! She just finished her 1st year teaching and ROCKED it!! Very proud of the young lady she has become!!
It was all fun and games until Enrique made me right in the front on the roller coaster and I then proceeded to puke my brains out in the bathroom! I don’t do roller coasters very well!
Was excited this group talked me in to riding the Guardians of Galaxy ride…I didn’t puke and it wasn’t TOO bad.
Good Night/Good Morning Disneyland. Grad Night was a Success! No one on our bus got into trouble. It was such a great time!!
