When we were in Ireland June of 2014…we got lucky with VERY VERY good weather! We had WAY more days of actual sun, than rain (which is rare). We actually wore lots of shorts and even had to buy $25 bottle of Banana Boat sunscreen! (Yes crazy right!).
So this trip we were really hoping we could get lucky with nice weather. The first few days it was happening. Sun!
So we headed to Enniscrone one day while our cousins still had school and work. I was on a mission to get a picture of Maggie…it was family tradition! heehee. One of my favorite things to do is to sit and compare current pictures and those from the past. To see the what changes and what stays the same. Its one of my favorite things!!
Enniscrone beach…there is some past pics forsure!
2010…Owen 15 months
2014….Ella 17 months
2017…Maggie 21 months.
Owen was the easiest little baby to get in that water…and he had the COLDEST day! The girls both had sunny Irish summer days and Owen it was cloudy and cold but the water was so warm. He LOVED it. The girls HATED it so much!! haha Maggie hates the sand…like really hates the sand. She wouldn’t let me put her down that day and when I did she was SCREAM! She’s such a joy sometimes hahaha
This beach is fun. And it supposedly has one of the most shat after waves in all the world!! I’m hoping that ONE day we can have a California style beach day here. Get some stand up paddle boards and have a blast. It would be so awesome!
Maggie just cried and cried if we put her down onto the sand. Oh it was rough.
I was happy that my hubs actually took a few pics of me with the kids. I’m usually the one behind the camera the whole time…so these were a nice surprise!
And look a similar pic 3 years before (2014)
Trying to get a self timer family pic….oh the struggle! haha
Watching Ella play at this beach was so fun! I don’t know what it is but I have pictures of Owen dancing on the same beach a few years ago! Its a pretty beach with no waves…so the kids love it!! Why we didn’t bring swim suits is beyond me. Ella is NOT in dance…well she was a year ago and she dropped out after 5 classes (dance class drop-out…is that a real thing?!?) haha BUT she dances like she is a real dancer…and I LOVE it!
My tiny dancers…Owen was the same.
So our few hours at Enniscrone were really great!! And I’m SO happy we did this pic on this day because our great weather ended pretty much after this.
Months later I was excited to added these pics to our downstairs bathroom!
