An Unexpected Girls Night

I’ve mentioned a few times…but my poor husband has been slaving over his parents house-boat for about 2 weeks now. We use it more than my in-laws do…so Yosh felt that it was HIS duty to repair the boat (aka renovate that bad boy…) We brought the boat home back in May…here

Oh man…Yosh (and Kris Gerke) did so much work to that boat. They fixed the starter, put in a new toilet w/ awesome plumbing system including a new shower, new roofing, 2 new water tanks, etc. New stereo  system, new carpet in the front of the boat, new ramp off the front, fixed covers, cleaned ALL seats, fixed the screens, shelves, etc etc. Kris and Yosh worked so much on this darn boat they said they didn’t want to speak to each other for at least a year! haha  It probably wouldn’t have been so painful if they didn’t have a tight deadline…which was to get that boat back in the water BEFORE Yosh’s sister, Missy & fam gets here from New York…making this weekend was the ONLY time that Kris would be able to haul the boat back to Katherine’s Landing at Lake Mojave.  SO sadly, Yosh had to forgo his Angels Game & Dierks Bentley concert tix.  So I brought Kris’ wifey, Taryn, Chuck stayed home, Gab came up from San Diego and we made it a girls night.

There was absolutely NO tailgating going on with these girls, I learned by lesson last time I tried that!!!….we just had a mini pre-party at home before coming out (Thanks Taryn for driving…your awesome!)

Oh what an evening we had…we enjoyed ourselves until the wee hours of the morning…and today (Monday) I’m STILL exhausted!! You know your getting old when ONE night out takes at least half a week to recover from!! haha

Gabby decided that her beer wasn’t “doing it” for her that evening…so she went ahead and took a try and dipping tobacco! Ew!

I got a great ab work out from all the laughing we did that night. There is never a dull moment with my friends though…always “keeping it exciting” (Thanks Erika!)

Thanks ladies for a great night out…even though Erika & Gabby don’t read my blog, (what great best friends they are huh?!?!?)…its all good!!! haha
