Summer Days

After getting back from Ireland, Camping at Pismo and Daddy’s big birthday bash the summer was starting to come to an end.

I know as teachers we are so spoiled when it comes to time off…having 9 week summers is something that money can’t buy!  Family vacations are one thing, but day to day being home as a family of five is so much more! I love all the time I get with my kids.

So we tried getting lots of beach and pool time in…as much as possible!!

Maggie is NOT a fan of the sand. So we were trying to get her to play…she had mixed emotions about it.

Best thing to do after a day at the beach..have a drink in the spa…with a bestie!

We had a few days of summer storms. It was so fun and didn’t keep my kids out of the pool. This day we started by just going out back in our jammies to have a look..that turned into them swimming in their undies in the rain! They loved it.

Precious messy faces at lunch. I took this picture because I realized a few things that afternoon…1) Maggie is already growing up so much! 2) she hardly wears bibs anymore, so I had to document it 3) She’s just beautiful

Ella and Owen got to have a slumber party at our friends house. They set up an outdoor movie night, made popcorn and candy…Ella had the BESt. NIGHT. EVER! She asks all the time if she can go back for a sleep over!  Heather set the bar high for slumber parties!
