Daddy Turns 40

Holy Moly…I’m married to a 40 year old!!!! Crazy.

All of Yosh’s friends are turning 40…and it was finally his turn. He decided he wanted to get a Taco Man, hire a lifeguard and have a good time!  It was awesome!

The backyard was full.

It was nuts having so many people BUT having our 2 babysitters here as guests REALLY helped me out. I wasn’t worrying about the girls…someone always had them!

The tacos were a hit too. Another thing I didn’t need to worry about cooking. They did it all! I will def do this again if we host another bigger function!

Lots of adults and even more kids…EVERYWHERE! Hence why we paid someone to watch the pool. And Spencer worked hard….he was lifeguarding from 2:30-9pm!!!

Swimming continued into the night time. Kids were SO excited when the dad’s got in and played around with them.  Shockingly not many people got thrown into the pool with their clothes on either…well other than Madi. And Yosh accidentally ripped Madi’s dress off as he threw her in! Yeah. haha Not good.

A few of the guys tried to rally up and keep the partying going by hitting up a local bar. It was all sounding great UNTIL one wife shut it down (and it wasn’t me!) haha.  So 2 of the dad’s decided it would be fun to have a sleep over! haha So we had 2 extra dads…and 2 extra boys. The kids were so excited.

I was pretty proud that I had extra tooth brushes and made all the kids brush before bed too!

Yoshi passed out and the other guys snuggled up on the couch! heehee.

Think Daddy had a great birthday!!

The day after the party it was Yosh’s REAL birthday. So we headed to Redlands to spend some time with Mya. She was  just starting her chemo treatments for her breast cancer. So she wasn’t able to make it to his party.  But we hung out and had another cake over there.
