Owen’s soccer schedule was starting to dominate our weekend schedules. We had our community Easter event and I knew we HAD To get there. To see the bunny and get an egg hunt out of the way. So after Owen’s saturday soccer game we headed to Roosevelt. It actually worked out…yeah we were there for the last hour it was open but i feel like the crowds had died down at that point.
The bunny line was long and of course he needed a potty break right as we went into line. So we took turns bringing kids to egg hunts and standing in line for the picture.
Ella loved it. The community does “hunts”…really like pick up as many as possibles…by age group. So no big kids can trample little kids. Then after they count how many eggs they got and they get tickets toward a Candy Shack at the end. Its very organized and I love it.
Well…Maggie wasn’t a fan of the Easter Bunny…and you better believe I still had her sit and took the picture. Its like a tradition in our family…they all cry at this age…
But all was ok once we left the big furry beast.
This year Maggie was able to participate in an “egg hunt”…she LOVED it.
Mommy can’t miss a thing!!!
And Maggie had a cheering section…helping her figure out what to do with those pretty eggs!
Owen had an egg hunt with all the big kids…Daddy brought him and only got one pic…
After they all participated the place was about to close…so we headed to the candy shack. They got to pick what they wanted and were all very happy!
Good Big Brother!
One step closer to Easter…
