Owen’s birthday this year kind of fell on a weird day and time of year. It was the week after spring break, 2 days after we got home from our Boston trip…but also kind of close to Easter. So we only had 1 weekend to choose from for a birthday party date.
He decided he wanted to do a movie theatre party and see the new Power Ranger movie. Yeah it was kind of boyish but he was all about seeing it. So a few of his buddies came…3 school friends and the rest our regular crew. Yosh and 2 of the dads took the 10 kids (all boys and 1 girl) into the movies. I loaded them up with goodie bags and then snacks and drinks from the concession stand. They did great…all sat through the movie. While Daddy took care of the kids I ran and got the party room decorated and picked up cupcakes.
After the movie there was a restroom break and then into the “party room” for Happy Birthday cupcakes and presents

It was really cute to see them all sit around the table and chit chat. Its crazy how old they are all getting now. Like I didn’t even need to be there…they were doing their own thing.
Owen loved opening presents in front of his friends…the excitement was so cute!
He had a GREAT birthday and got to celebrate with most of his favorite people!! Dang he’s getting old.
