Usually while we are here in Ireland there is some sort of occasion that will bring us all together. Weddings, Baptisms, Huge Birthdays, etc. This particular trip there isn’t a “big” event…we planned a trip just because. Yes there were a few anniversaries, birthdays and reasons to come together BUT since there wasn’t a big event we planned a special family dinner at my aunts house. A time to come together, aunts, uncles, cousins and my grandmother! It was a beautiful evening and felt so nice to just relax with the familia.
After eating, the kids played outside for about 3 hours…chasing cats, jumping rocks, just being kids. It was awesome.
Of course when family come together its a great time to get pictures!!! This is my Nanny with all her great-grandchildren…minus Riley and Colin who are in Philly.
Jayden, Ella, Addison, Owen & Cian.
Kinda difficult to get all this kids under the age of 8 and an 84 year old woman to all be smiling and looking at the camera. These might have been the better of the 80 shots I took.
Group shot…just missing my dad and husband…not exactly sure why we didn’t make them get in the pic…but yeah…they aren’t in it. lol
Top: Me, Shannon, Aunt Ann, Denise, Alan, Mom, Aunt Helen, Caoimhe, Keith, Aunt Majella, Caolan. Bottom: Jayden, Addison, Ella, Nanny, Owen & Cian.
Four generations of girls…Nanny, Nana, Me and Ella
My Nanny with her only 2 grand-daughters…and their Mama’s.
I Love this one…my Mom, her 3 sisters and their Mother. Molloy Girls.
Its tough to get a pic of them all with eyes open, proper smiles, no messin’…they can be worse than my little kids!!! lol But many of you think I look “exactly like my mom”…so I am wondering…do you still think I’m exactly like Bernie…or am I more like Helen, Ann or Majella???
Such a beautiful evening…wish we had more evenings like this with family!!! Loved watching my children play with their cousins, make real friendships and just watch the little bonds forming. Its adorable.
And Ella even had a lesson on the proper Irish pint from her Uncle Alan!! ps. No she didn’t get even a tiny taste…not ready for all that!
