I think its a parents right of passage to bring your child out to visit the Easter Bunny….then to have your child FLIP out in front of a crowd of people! haha Its so sad and not funny but totally is funny at the same time. I remember last Easter…Ella was still so little and when we went with a bunch of friends to the Irvine Easter deal I remember feeling the anxiety of having Ella out. Pure craziness!
And this year not as crazy…and my littles have grown sooo much!
A big church in our community put on an Easter Festival last weekend. We headed out with the rest of Eastvale…haha TONS of people but it was put together wonderfully!
We got our bunny pics…
Yep girlfriend wasn’t happy!! I thought she was going to be ok. She wasn’t scared seeing him while waiting in line. She LOVES one of our bunny decorations that sings Peter Cottontail and hops around…but yeah. She wasn’t a fan. UNTIL we walked away…then she loved waving at him!
See she was STILL eyeing the bunny while trying to take our egg pics! hahaha
We got some kettle corn, skipped the egg hunt (Owens not a fan of them for some reason) and headed out to lunch! It was a great few hours within our community. I like seeing students, parents, co-workers, friends, etc You really get the “community” feeling at events like these!
And of course wouldn’t be a fun blog without looking at our bunny pics over the years…
And Owen’s first Easter we skipped the bunny since he was 8 days old!…But here are both babies on their first Easters…
For all you mom’s out there hatin’ on the “creepy looking bunny”…stop being awkward…get your kids pics done!!! hahahaha. You bring them to see Mickey Mouse and they scream and cry…why not bring them to see the Easter Bunny!?!? haha They won’t be traumatized…for long anyway! haha
