Every year I tell myself that we are going to go see Santa early…beat the lines and crazy people…and I swear…almost every year I wait for God knows what and end up hating myself for it!!
Our first attempt at going to see Santa was a huge FAIL! We got there and the line at BassPro shops was 1.5 hours long…for a free picture with Santa…I DO NOT think so! Since we have the week off from work we decided to try back the next day…and get there when Santa arrived. MUCH better!!
I tried to get Owen to pose in front of our dieing x-mas tree…but he was being such a little rascal! Totally wouldn’t smile or look cute…but I have to say…my son has some pretty amazing form with his bow and arrow! haha He tells me he’s like Brave! haha 
He was even purposely trying NOT to smile…lil punk!
We waited in line and Owen was probably the only child that did NOT want to ride on the free carousal…typical…but that’s ok. SO he patiently watched and waited his turn to see the big man!
I was a little nervous that he might freak out…but sat back, waited for a reaction and just snapped as many pictures as I could!
He then chatted with Santa and explained that he wanted the Dinosaur Hot Wheels…it was cute!
Thankfully Owen has always been a fan of Santa…
No trace of a Santa Pic in 2010…don’t remember if we visited him or not that year.
Hopefully he continues to like Santa next year when he has his baby sister up there with him…so weird to think of that!
