Pinterest

Its crazy how ONE website can seriously take over a persons life! First it was myspace, then facebook and now its Pinterest.  How do you explain Pinterest…well it’s a site where you can create customized virtual pin-boards for things (from recipes, crafts, photo ideas, etc.) that you want to remember! Its sooo amazing and soooo addicting! I’m sooo not crafty…I love seeing people’s home-made projects…I get so envious….I soooo deeply wanna be that crafty-gal with cool stuff in my house…buut yeah, just not there yet!

Anyway…I’m not the only person who has been hit by the pinterest bug…I’ve read on fb a good few times about ladies having pinterest craft nights. Girl time, crafts and wine…what MORE could a woman want (GOSH we are getting OLD when craft nights amuse us like this!) And recently my friend Heather hosted her first pinterest night. She picked the craft, got the supplies (bar craft scissors and glue guns)…and we were instructed to bring a beverage and an appetizer or dessert that we found on pinterest. It was so much fun!

You betcha the evening started with food before we started getting crafty!!

Then it was time for instructions from Heather, who did the craft before us to make sure she kinda knew what she was doing…

….THEN it was business time…Katie, Kyla, Taryn, Kerri, me, Jessica, Erin G. & Lindsey all went to work, while Heather assisted us all!!!

Figuring out how to neatly wrap our letters in yard was challenging and very time consuming for some! Actually some of the ladies ended up leaving before their products were completely finished…Sunday nights aren’t allowed to be late nights with babies and husbands at home. 
I finished my letter that evening…and today I framed and put it up in my house.

I love it! Thanks Heather…it was so much fun!!!  Until the next Pinterest party!!
