It was so great having Caoimhe stay with us for most of July. She was the easiest person to have. She didn’t fuss about much. Didn’t demand anything. She went with the flow. Never minded if we stay home or went out. Her only request was for chicken strips and chips. haha No she branched out…we got her to try a taco!! haha
It was awesome…my kids adored her. She made our life around the house a bit easier…an extra set of hands to hold or feed or change! She was great.
I also loved getting the time to spend with her cousin to cousin. Since shes so much younger than me its not always easy to bond…but we got some time this trip and I LOVED it!
Her mother is my godmother and my mom’s baby sister. When her mother graduated high school she came to stay with my parents (and me and Paul) for the summer. So when we started looking back at pictures of when Majella was here we laughed…time repeating itself.
This was the summer of….1987? When we lived in Long Beach. Days at the beach and in our lavish pool out back! haha
Loved having her and can’t wait for our next visit!!!
