We haven’t been to Disneyland in quite some time…so planning a day with Caoimhe and the big kids was pretty exciting. We left Maggie home with Nana…just easier for everyone.
The day didn’t start off too great. We left a little later than we thought we were going to…and then got stuck in a MAJOR traffic jam around theh 91 fwy. It took us over 2 hours to get to Disneyland…yeah the trip should have taken us like 35 minutes! But it was ok. We planned on staying the WHOLE day…and we did just that. Park closed at 10pm and we were there until 9:30pm!
It was a GREAT day…and was only made possible by our dear friend Steve. He signed us in and directed us straight to the Frozen Broadway play fast track. We would had never known to go straight there. Thankful that he was able to help us out and make our day happen.
California Adventure was first on the list. We went on Little Mermaid first.
Right before we went to Disneyland…a friend of mine “challeneged” me on social media to do a dance challenge. It was to the Megan Trainor song “Lets Dance”…and was for a little girl here in Eastvale that has cerebral palsy and her parents were trying to raise money to get her a life changing surgery. So throughout the day I was making the kids dance and sing around the theme parks…it was fun, Yosh was annoyed…go figure! haha
Since Owen, Caoimhe and Daddy wanted to go on some big rides, Ella and I got to do some of the kiddie stuff! It was a total win win. Everyone was happy. EXCEPT that every line the 3 of them stood in…the ride would break! It happened 3 times in Disneyland and 1 at Universal Studios…it was a bad luck that kept following them!
The Frozen show as absolutely amazing! I loved it! It was so much like the movie…they did such a great job. I laughed and I cried. Ahh it was good!!
One of my favorite things about Disneyland…the CHURROS!
It was a great day!! Of course even though Maggie was with Nana…she wasn’t far from my mind. I was having to take little breaks every few hours to go to the BabyCare center and pump…oh the joys of motherhood!
It wasn’t all that bad actually. While I pumped I was able to charge my phone and sit in the AC. It was warm day at Disneyland but they keep the BabyCare center very cool. Its awesome.
The last ride of the night was Indiana Jones for Owen, Caoimhe and Daddy…Ella and I walked on to the Jungle Cruise and while we waited for them she fell asleep MID SENTENCE! It was the cutest thing ever. And EVERYDAY since our trip in July, Ella has talked about going back to Disneyland. She truly fell in love that day…and i love it!!
