What does every mother want…???
SLEEP! Well maybe not all mothers BUT all mothers to small children probably do!!!
Luckily I was up at 6:22am when Ella woke me up; bursting at the seems to tell me what her surprise for me was (she had been keeping the secret since Thursday evening…basically a lifetime in her world). I nursed Maggie and handed all 3 children over to Daddy so I could go back to bed for a bit. Now I must say…my amazing husband usually lets me go back to bed at least 1 day on the weekend…he knows that I NEED sleep. And he understands the stress that nursing a baby that isn’t consistently sleeping through the night. So I get my weekend sleep MOST weekends. And I’m happy about that.
So Mama got to go back to bed. And was woken up to breakfast in bed!
And a card with pictures of the kids making my presents. Daddy brought them to Color Me Mine on Thursday…not realizing that those places take a few days/weeks to fire your products. But I loved the pictures and can’t wait to see the cereal bowl Owen made me and the animal (Ella said its a pony, Yosh said its a cat) mug!
Daddy did the dishes and tidied up downstairs too!
Maggie is into pulling hair these days…poor Ella! lol
We facetime’d with Nana and wished her a Happy Mother’s Day and then showered and headed to Redlands to see Mya. We made her a card, got her presents, flowers and lunch. It was a nice visit!
Mya with 2 of her 4 kids on Mother’s Day.
We ate, played and had a good visit.
It was nice to feel special today. Yosh did a great job showing our children how to pamper their mommy…next year I want a pedicure or something though! haha jk
I love this boy for making me a mommy!
I love this girl for keeping me on my toes and showing me that cancer didn’t take everything.
And I love this little lady for completing me and our FiveFamily!!
Being a Mommy is what I was meant to be when I grew up!! They make life worth living and I thank God everyday for letting me be lucky enough to be their Mama. And for having such an amazing supportive husband that helps me be the Mom that I am.
Love these kids with my whole being!
