So last year we had a boring Paddy’s day…and this year we had another boring one! haha Guess that is just what happens when you have 2 kids…no sitter AND its on a week day! haha St. Patricks day on a Monday should NOT be allowed! haha
On Saturday we were hanging out at home all day…Daddy was working on some home improvement projects…and I thought we should make some chicken curry, rice and fries (no fried spuds here! haha) And yes, believe it or not, Chicken Curry is a real popular Irish meal folks!! No they don’t eat cornbeef and cabbage! My Irish mother said you would NEVER be caught dead serving cornbeef to anyone…its a poor mans meat! haha They eat Bacon & Cabbage in Ireland…and their bacon is similar to our ham! end rant.
Anyway…we had some friends over for for dinner and to hang out…nothing major AT ALL. Put my kids in some green gear, tried taking some pictures of them and by Jesus actually got to have a few drinks, which was lovely!

Our brave friends tried my chicken curry…not exactly sure if they liked it…or not.
They said they liked it…Matt ate his AND finished Heathers. I texted Mom, who is currently IN Ireland and Matt made that face for the text. lol I hope they liked it…I know Heather would never tell me if she didn’t! lol Either way they were great guests to eat my cookin’!
I LOVE chicken curry…but was missing my fried potatoes!
Then got out some random props I had laying around from all my crazy Irish family and had a photo shoot! haha
And of course our lovely family picture!
It was a nice mellow evening. But no one got hammered. Nothing exciting even on a Saturday. lol
Yesterday for actual St. Patricks Day it was like any other day…except everyone wore their green. I’m not the cool mom that had a leprechaun come visit and piss green in our toilets or turn our milk green…yep I suck…maybe next year! haha

Nothing traditional for dinner either…we headed to Chili’s. I didn’t feel like cooking OR cleaning! haha And it was an awesome evening out!
I missed Mom yesterday…I’m being moody and missing her. I know shes having fun in Ireland…I mean…what Mother posts pictures like this on IG…
Bahahahahaha DAMN I have a funny Mom. I was rollin’ when she sent this to me. She surely knows how to make people smile! ((Sorry Mom..had to put this in the blog somewhere…so I NEVER EVER forget it!! haha This picture could possibly be posted at your funeral some day! haha I shouldn’t joke like that…))
Anyway. Hope ye all (yes I said ye) had a great day. I’m ready for the little man to turn 5 in a few weeks…oh my lanta.
