Some people hate their work X-mas Parties…I LOVE ours!!! Its the only time we get to see some of the colleagues that we actually really enjoy being around, have a few drinks, dance and just relax. I like it. Over the years our work parties have changed. It used to be at the Mission Inn…the young teachers would get wild. We’ve transitioned into a country club setting, sit down dinners and young ones don’t always come anymore. BUT we always go (if we are in the country…sometimes we miss the party if we are in Ireland)..
Its fun seeing co-workers outside of work! And when everyone is feeling rather festive it makes it more fun!
We had this DJ last year and he came back again this year. I don’t remember if I told this story last year BUT last year when I saw him, I knew he looked SO familiar. After a good handful of beverages it came to me…he was the lead singer for a band called FreakDaddy. I used to go to his concerts when I was in high school and my then boyfriend loved the band. Small world. Love his ska-type music!
I laughed when I got home and found all these mini bottles in my purse. Yes I bring a few with me. heehee.
And this year the Brown’s had their sometime’s annual x-mas party…with a twist…it was a family pj party! Yay.
It was an easy night of chit chatting, eating, drinking…playing and all trying to NOT be hung over (yes this was the night after our work x-mas party….uugghh) It was also a board game white elephant gift exchange too. It was fun. Our kids loved getting to open gifts and steal the good ones from each other. It was a great idea.
Think Victor won the best jammies of the night…I posted a pic of the back because the front were borderline porn/inappropriate! hahaha They were great.
Mason and Maggie…few days apart and are so funny! Getting the two of them to sit and say cheese is almost impossible! lol Get it Linz!
Night ended with a dance party and pyramids!
Really love getting to send time with my co-workers outside of work and time with some of our best friends around the holiday time!
