Christmas Eve Traditions

Christmas Eve around our house has taken on a different tradition…we USED to go to Disneyland on X-mas Eve…when it was the days of just me and Yosh.  We even got engaged at Disneyland ON Christmas Eve! Yosh came into my life in November 2002…and from day one always tried making my xmas eve and xmas a happier time.

Now our xmas eve is sorta sad, yet sorta absolutely beautiful as well!!  Its sad that we have to go visit family at cemetaries but its our reality.  So we go visit Uncle Paul…

Then over to see Papa…

Thats usually followed by a late lunch/early dinner, Linner…at a yummy restaurant. This year it was Black Angus.  Then we head home, do our sibling gift exchange. This is the first year that it was actually exciting to watch. They all picked and wrapped gifts for eachother and it was ADORABLE to see HOW excited they were to GIVE. I hope they always are this excited.

Then we prepped our cookies, milk and carrots for Santa and reindeers. I think someday when the kids are actually doing their own shit Yosh wants to do his family tradition of baking and decorating sugar cookies. We have tried doing it in the past and it never works…haha. So when they are a little older and enjoy doing that stuff it’s going to be great.

And the last Christmas Eve “tradition” is saying goodbye to Elfie.  Its the only time they are allowed to kiss and hug him…and Owen was the only one brave enough to do it! haha

Then its night night time…get these excited ass kids into bed!!
