So getting into the holiday spirit was hard this year. Very hard. We had just buried poor Papa and then we were talking about Santa and Christmas tree’s. We pushed ourselves. We had children to think about. So we forced those smiles and got out there.
We headed to ERHS Winter Fest. I had great hopes for a wonderful Santa picture! Last year was magical…
…this year….yeah not so much…
Maggie wanted absolutely NOTHING to do with Santa. I have never had a kid clench on to me SO hard. This Santa kind sucked too…he wasn’t helping at all. So…we didn’t get a kids only Santa picture this year. We got a #FiveFamily picture! lol
But we played and hung out. Kids LOVE the snow. So yeah. ERHS Winter Fest was fun.
Little by little…we will get in the Christmas spirit in the Souza house!
