Legoland Day 2

After a less than marvelous night of sleep, Ella feel out of the bed twice. Owen woke “scared”…and I wanted to kill myself! haha Ella ended up in our bed…I slept in Ella’s bunk and Owen on the trundle pull-out! Ay ay ay!

We skipped our free breakfast because the wait was over an hour and we took advantage of our “Golden Hour” in the park (we got onto a 5 rides before the park opened to the public). 

Ella was her typical pleasant self! haha Just kidding…she was actually upset because she tripped and scraped her knee. So she was a diva and cried for like 10 minutes about it.

…and then we met up with some of our closest friends.  Their son is 3 days younger than Owen and he asked to spend the day at Legoland as well.  It was perfect. The boys were like best buds!

I realized watching Owen all day that he is such a touchy lovey child…and I adore that about him! I hope he never changes.  He was holding hands, hugging and non-stop talking.  Full excitement for 10 hours. It was crazy!

Poor Ella is only 34 inches talls…so she only qualified for about 5-6 rides throughout the park.  But she was a trooper and I kept her busy.  We walked around, ate popcorn and had a good time while the other kids waited in those lines for the big rides.  At one point she actually took a snooze in the stroller.  I LOVED being able to watch her sleep. She is a “in her room, in her crib” kinda sleeper!  I don’t get to see her sleep up close very often. She so peaceful asleep.  Loved it.

 

And since the boys are only 3 days apart they got to exchange gifts on the way to the parking lot.  haha it was so funny! They were clueless…and wanted eachothers gifts.

Such a wonderful day!!! Owen LOVED it. He even got talked into going on the “big ride” Project X.  He was TERRIFIED! But to see him step it up and hang with his wild friends was awesome. My little boy is turning in to just that! He told me that this Legoland birthday trip was his BEST birthday ever! I love this boy and am very pleased he had such a good trip! Happy almost birthday my Owen!
