All of Easter!

Part of Easter means going to see the Easter Bunny!  And since I’m a wonderful parent I make my children get their picture with that horrifying bunny! haha Tears or not. ((I’m horrible)).  Ella has never been a fan of any dressed up character…and this year was no different.  I didn’t even put her ON the bunny but she still wasn’t having it.  He loved him from far away…but now, 2 weeks later, she is still traumatized and tells me that the bunny was scary and she cried. lol  

Ella only liked the bunny when she was asleep and didn’t even know he was holding her! haha

…Owen hasn’t done so bad with the bunny. They’ll thank me one day…right?

Easter itself was quiet this year.  We hosted at our house.  I missed my parents…they are in Ireland…and its not the same without them. BUT thankfully I have awesome in-laws to share the day with.  Since the weather was so warm we did a pool party/Easter dinner gathering.  My MIL brought the ham but after the fact we said we could have just BBQ’d…made it a proper pool party!

 

We played, we ate, we relaxed, we ate some more and we danced!! Watching Owen and Ella dance to songs is funny…but its absolutely ADORABLE when Ella goes over and asks her 6’6” uncle to dance with her to Ed Sheeran’s slow song!! It was one of the cutest things ever!!

And it wouldn’t be an Easter without Daddy and Owen’s traditional shoulder picture…I can’t wait to see Daddy try and do this in 10 years!
