We FINALLY made it out to the boat this past weekend.

Its our first trip of the summer…and possibly going to be the ONLY trip (how sad is that!?!?).  With school starting so much sooner than it used to it makes getting those river trips in a tad bit difficult!  Our first trip of the year is usually during spring break and not one of the fun ones…since there is always something wrong with the boat. We skipped the river this spring break so I thought forsure this trip was going to be a bust  BUT I was shocked that he boat was running and doing great!! Thank Goodness.

**I took most pictures on this trip with my iphone. Since it has the LifeProof water poof case I was able to take pictures from the water and not worry about kids knocking my good camera into the water.  BUT now I’m realizing the quality of my pics SUCK compared to ones taken with my DSLR. Live and Learn.**

When we arrived to Laughlin Daddy went to the boat to clean up and pray it was running (which it was) while I stayed at Harrah’s and kept the kids busy. Eating, Playing and Checking things out.

Then I had a great idea to go down by the beach access part at Harrah’s. Oh it was so peaceful and pretty. I thought “hey…lets take a few pictures”…

…but Ella had other plans…

Yep she jumped in…got soaked. And then I was there left with no dry clothes, no towels, no diapers…nothing. hahaha Yeah…it was funny but not funny.

But our time on the lake was great…as usual!!

 

We are totally recreating a lot these days…and I love it!!! Same great people…just different swim suits, hair color and number of children around!! haha   Here are some of the pics we took this trip that we have totally taken in years past!!! Love them all!!!

I love seeing our families change over the years. I swear some kids change SO much in a year…others are like little vampires and look the same but might be a bit taller! I can’t wait to see what these photos look like when they are teenagers. You think they will still stand at the water edge holding hands??? haha I hope so!  heehee.

We had a blast…got our girls night out!!! Woot Woot.  Drinks, Squirts, Whip Cream and French Fries! Nothing better than all that!

ANd the last day my in-laws came down.

   

Our trips are full of chaos…like pure chaos. Lots of laughing, yelling, smiling, crying, the works. Thirsty parents, hungry kids ALL DAY! The more the kids crazier it gets BUT I have to say…I wouldn’t want it any other way. I love our “framily”.  Can’t wait for the next trip guys.
