Yep…thats us!!!!
Been a long week of drinking, hangovers and recovering! And I have to say I’m totally ok with not boozin’ for quite a while! We had fun, but I’m tired, bloated and feeling eh from all the wine! haha
Partying started by celebrating a great friend graduating nursing school.
Left Ella home with Nana and we all enjoyed a night of eating, drinking, singing and dancing (even the kids were singing and dancing their little booties off!)
Thursday we had our work Holiday party at the Mission Inn. It was one of the most fun nights we’ve had out in a long time. Over 160 of our co-workers all got dressed up and had a good night! The shoes and stockings came off within a few minutes of dancing! I’ve realized why I’m NOT a tights kinda girl…you can’t breathe in them!!
Danced until the placed shut us down…and we pretended like we didn’t have work the following morning…(I DIED the next day!!!)
Then our party week came to a great end at the Somtimes Annual Brown Christmas Party! Its a no kids, formal kinda night…and this girl took advantage and got my hair did. Wanted to dress up and pretend like I was at prom again! haha
The group this year consisted of our usuals, Harps, Manleys, Parkers, Martins, Durhans, Smiths, Rowes, and some new faces too! It was a great group…they cooperated with my many attempts of the groups shot on a timer!! We ate, drank holiday cocktails, danced, pretended to karaoke and even tested our BAC levels with a mini breathalyzer!! haha No drunk driving allowed!
The Browns Sometimes Annual Xmas Party made me look back at pics of the other “sometimes annual xmas parties” of the past…
2004…First Annual Brown Christmas Party
Was in the St. Francis house…and it was a gift exchange (which involved mostly all alcohol!)
2005
2006
(At the Parkers…and looks like we carried the party back to the Browns house!)
2010
I never realized we got together practically every Christmas (at least all the years we weren’t in Ireland for the holidays)until looking through all these old pictures. It’s basically the same group, which has expanded with WAY more children (whom aren’t invited to the parties anymore haha) and more friends! They are our extended family whom we love and cherish oh so very much!! I have to say we are all aging freakin’ well!!
Cheers to many many more years of Christmas parties in the future!
