I swear I feel like I have already written a post exactly like what I’m about to write…oh yeah I have…back in September…Barf Sucks
I thought you pretty much only get the flu one time per season….oh no I have been PROVEN wrong this week!
Ella and Owen got a cold back in mid-January. They were pretty much over it with no real drama (Thank God). Fevers and snot were the worst of it. Of course you know this crazy mama brought them to kaiser to be told they have a cold…viral…go home! haha 
But then we found out that a) you can get the cold back within days of getting over it! and b) The Cold has a ugly sisterfriend named The Flu.
Friday= snotty noses returned. Have Ella’s one year check-up. 
Saturday= super high fevers (Ella 104.1 &Owen 103.4) 
Sunday=low fevers, cough & snotty noses (kept kids home instead of going to our friends SuperBowl party boohoo for Mama)
Monday=everything was getting better 
Tuesday=still improving…visited my in-laws in Redlands
Wednesday=Owen starts puking at lunch time. Ella pukes at bedtime 
Thursday=Owen pukes twice in the over night. Ella pukes in her crib and sleeps in it (so sad). Nana stays home with the kids…they rest. Have no energy, they puke…great right? Owen seemed to be perking up around dinner time. So I gave him some toast.((Bad Idea)) I ended my night have to change ALL the bedding in MY bed…again. 
Its been a rough week…I’m taking the day off tomorrow (giving poor Nana a break and hopefully she can stay healthy!)…praying for NO puke!!
Even had to move Ella’s little birthday party to Sunday…in hopes my children are better! Oh man oh man. Thank you friends who are still able to make it to celebrate our little girl…and those that can’t I TOTALLY understand…and you’ll be missed.
Our poor Owen can’t catch a break in the sickness department. I pray he’s done getting sick for this season….please lord.
