35 Weeks

So…I’m officially nesting! Not sure if its because I have finally realized that Oh Holy Hell this baby could be here within a few short weeks…or if its just the natural chain of things.  I mean if all goes according to “plan” this day 4 weeks I’ll be sitting in Kaiser holding my 1 day old precious little daughter…isn’t that so weird to think of?!?
 
At my last doctors appt we scheduled my c-section date and time…Thursday January 31st at 9:30am!! As my doctor was inputting the appt she was saying “well…we’re scheduling this as a technicality BUT realistically your probably not going to make it to this date!”  Oh CRAP! haha I’m carrying this little lady on the heavy side…just as I did with Owen. Doc did an ultrasound just to get a quick check and Baby Girl is already weighing in at 5lbs 7oz….and we still have 4 weeks to go! Oh dear Lord (she better fit into all the adorable newborn clothes we have for her!) AND all I have to say is Good thing she ain’t comin’ out my lady-part! haha

I think to myself…35 weeks…I shouldn’t be getting to excited yet…BUT hell…I went into labor with Owen at 36 weeks 6 days…and if history repeats itself that means I only have 2 weeks to get fully prepared! O-M-G….am I ready??? NO! haha Really yes I am…but no I’m not! So yesterday I washed, folded and put away all our newborn clothes, blankets, towels, etc. Today I packed our hospital bag…well started packing it. Went to Target to get some of the travel sized essentials…but still have a few things that need to go into the bag upon departure (including some snacks for Daddy!)  But still so much to do…wash the car seat, set up the pack-in-plays which doubles as baby's bassinet in my room and kinda just mentally prep myself (and Owen)!

This week I also had my friend Heather take some family/maternity pictures of us. She's NOT a professional…but I knew she’d be patient enough to get some good shots for free…which she did! And I really love them!!!

So not long now before life changes a bit…I’m kinda ready…but not totally! lol  Haha I have so many more pregnancy pictures I wanna take thanks to pinterest…so I can’t pop too soon!
