Kaiser scheduled Maggie’s 1 year check up ON her actual birthday….yeah crazy right?!? BUT since we weren’t doing much I didn’t reschedule…since sometimes Kaiser can be a b*tch about getting appts. So away we went for our littlests 1year check.

Maggie is a trooper though. She did great.
And look at that little face….oh my goodness
Owen was my biggest 1 year old….Ella was my smallest 1 year old.
Maggie is my average bear.
Weight 18lbs 13oz at 35th percentile.
Height 28.74inches also at 35th percentile.
And a few days later we had her ophthalmology appointment. Dr. Duerksen is awesome.
He checks into her eyes to see if her ptosis is causing any brain or eye damage. We had to dilate her eyes this appt and it showed that her vision is more than 1 unit off from each other. Dr. Duerksen is hoping that we caught her in a weird growth spurt with one eye jumping out in front of the other. So we are coming back in December for a repeat appt. ps babies with eyes dilation is sad…they won’t wear glasses and their eyes are so sensitive.
Maggie didn’t like having her eyes dilated…so of course she screamed…AND big sister didn’t like hearing cry…SO we had TWO girls crying…and thankfully 2 nurses to help me! haha Oh The Beast is a bit of a drama queen. haha God love her.
Again…crazy what a year does!
