My WONDERFUL in-laws own a house boat docked at Katherine’s Landing on Lake Mojave. Its been awesome being able to use it whenever we’d like for the past 7.5 years. We brought Owen out last July and August (when he was 3-4 months old). He loved it but was kinda small to really enjoy it. THIS trip was a different story…the kid is absolutely 100% river rat. We could not keep him out of the 58 degree water…he loved it too much!
His new thing on this trip was every time he saw a camera (or anything that looked like a camera ie, phone, ipod, etc.) he’d say “Chheeesssseeee” It was adorable!! He’s not a HAM or anything!
Mommy had to keep a rashguard on most of the time b/c the radiologist said too much sun could cause a Radiation Recall (I’m not sure what that is…but DO NOT want to find out)
We tried getting a group shot…Owen is kinda hidden, but this was the crew. The Harp’s, the Manley’s, the Rowe’s, the Cilderman’s and us. Was so much fun!!

How fun!! I LOVE the picture of Owen in his hat! :) Ok, so you must calm my fears of taking a baby to Laughlin. Jon's parents own a boat and we have access to it as well, and Jon really wanted to go out there for spring break but I was terrified of taking Landon so young. But Owen looks like he adapted really well!! Yay! Hmm...maybe I will give it a shot ;)
ReplyDeleteLove the pics. I took time off in July to go with the Dopfs. My kids havent been. Owen is so cute. Love that he says cheese...All Jack says is DADA and DOOG. Momma sometimes if Im lucky =)
